Why Kindermusik Village?

Babies and parents participating in a Kindermusik Village class in Basel – early music and movement for infants aged 0 to 18 months

From your baby's first giggle to their first steps, every moment is a chance to grow. Kindermusik Village offers a calm, nurturing space for your baby to explore music, movement — while you connect with him and with other parents.

Grounded in early childhood research, each session supports your baby’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development — all through simple, loving routines, and joyful songs.

We have been doing this for a long time, we know what you and your little one need.
We are always open to answer all your questions, but check here if one of your predecessors has already asked them.

Totally normal and completely welcome. Babies will cry, sleep, nurse, spit up — and we expect it. You’re free to respond to your baby’s needs however and whenever you need to. Remember that babies are still exposed to music even if they are asleep or dozing off during class - plus you get some time with like-minded adults.
Yes, of course. You're encouraged to feed your baby whenever needed. Our environment is relaxed, supportive, and respectful of all parenting choices.
Yes, we provide a dedicated area for diaper changes and quiet time. If you'd prefer privacy for breastfeeding or bottle-feeding we have a separate space available.
Yes. Strollers are welcome and we have space to safely park them during class.
Not at all. No singing or rhythm skills required — just bring your love and presence. We’ll guide you gently through everything.
Each 60-minute session includes music, gentle movement, infant massage, baby-safe instruments, and quiet moments to connect. The activities are designed to stimulate development and support your baby’s growth.
Both. While your baby benefits from every sensory and social experience, you’ll gain insight into their development — and connect with other new parents along the way. Many a lifelong friendship has started between our walls.
Just yourselves and your diaper bag. We provide all the instruments and class materials.
Yes. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities. Instruments and mats are sanitized regularly, and our classroom is designed with the needs of tiny humans in mind.
